This event will make history as the first food sport competition held in a sports stadium. And guess who’s set to light up the stage? None other than the legendary Grammy® Award-winning Country Music band, Alabama!

When and where is the event held?

The Southeastern BBQ Showdown will take place on June 14-15 at Segra Park (1640 Freed Street) in Columbia, SC.  Are you traveling from out of town? Book your stay at Lake MurrayCountry.com.


How much are tickets?

FRIDAY | SINGLE DAY ADMISSION

$37.50 | General Public

SATURDAY TICKETS

Field Level Tickets:

$35 |  Military/First Responder (Add Friday Tickets for $0 at checkout)
$50 | General Public (Add Friday Tickets for $0 at checkout)

Please Note: The Field Area does not have reserved seating – chairs, blankets, etc are not permitted.

Seated Tickets:

How do I buy tickets?

For single-day Friday Tickets:

    3. Log In or create an account with the Columbia Fireflies
    4. After the page reloads review your shopping cart and add payment information, when you are finished tap [Place Order].

For single-day Saturday Tickets:

    2. Select the number of tickets that you would like to purchase then select your seats via [Section] or [Seating Map]

Are there age restrictions for the event?

The Southeastern BBQ Showdown is a family-friendly event, and all ages are welcome to attend. Children 12 & under enter free with an adult ticket on Friday night ONLY.


Can I bring outside food or beverages to the event?

Outside food and beverages are not permitted at Segra Park.


Is the event accessible to individuals with disabilities?

Yes, we strive to make the Southeastern BBQ Showdown accessible to individuals of all abilities. Please contact us in advance if you require special accommodations, and we will do our best to assist you.


Can I bring my pet to the event?

With the exception of service animals, pets are not allowed at the Southeastern BBQ Showdown due to health and safety regulations. We appreciate your understanding.


What can I expect at the event?

Attendees can expect to indulge in mouthwatering BBQ samples from top pitmasters, explore a vibrant vendor expo featuring BBQ-related products and services, enjoy live performances by The Band of Oz (Friday) and Alabama (Saturday), and witness thrilling BBQ competitions. Please note that BBQ samples will be available until they run out.


How can I become a vendor or sponsor for the event?

INFORMATION ABOUT SEGRA PARK 


Does Segra Park accept cash?

Segra Park is a fully cashless facility. Eliminating the exchange of cash limits person-to-person contact and keeps all Fireflies fans and staff members safe. All major credit cards will be accepted at every point of sale at Segra Park, including at the Duke’s Investigations Fireflies Ticket Office, at the Mason Jar Team Store, in the parking lots and at all concession stands.

Fans who bring cash will, at any point during the game, be able to convert that into Fireflies Gift Cards at the Dukes Investigations Guest Services Kiosk, which is located on the concourse behind home plate. Gift Cards will be available in increments of $5 and will not have an expiration date.


Is there a Clear Bag Policy?

The Fireflies Clear Bag Policy closely matches those already in place at all NFL stadiums and many NCAA sporting events. This policy also closely matches the policy in place for all Gamecock sporting events and concerts at Colonial Life Arena. Under the policy, each fan is allowed to bring one clear bag into Segra Park. Backpacks and diaper bags are NOT permitted inside Segra Park. The Clear Bag Policy is in place to provide a safer environment at events and should significantly expedite fan entry into Segra Park.


Where can I park?

Visitors can park in the 657-spot City of Columbia Freed Street Parking Deck, located on the corner directly across from the main plaza of Segra Park, or the City of Columbia Sabal Street Parking Deck located near Starbucks. Both Parking Decks are accessible off of Bull Street. Additional overflow parking will be located across Colonial Drive when needed. Parking in this lot will be accessible off of Bull Street at Confederate Avenue. Parking in all locations will be $8. Payments for all parking locations can be made by credit or debit card only, operating under Segra Park’s cashless policy. ADA parking spots will be held in the Freed Street Parking Deck and the Sabal Street Parking Deck. DIRECTIONS

  • Directions to the Ballpark from I-26: Take I-26 to I-126 East towards Columbia… I-126 turns into Elmwood Avenue… Make a left onto Bull Street… Take the next right onto Freed Drive… The ballpark is located up the hill.
  • Directions to the Ballpark from I-77: Take I-77 to 277 South to Columbia… Take the Farrow Road/SC-555 exit… Turn left onto Farrow Road/SC-555… Continue onto Colonial Drive… Turn left at the blinking yellow light… The ballpark is located up the hill.
  • Directions to the Ballpark from I-20 W: Take I-26 to I-126 East towards Columbia… I-126 turns into Elmwood Avenue… Make a left onto Bull Street… Take the next right onto Freed Drive…The ballpark is located up the hill.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Items that are prohibited inside the Segra Park gates include, but are not limited to: weapons of any kind, chairs, cigarettes, cigars, e-cigs, vaporizers, pepper spray and outside food or beverage of any kind. Tents of any kind are prohibited. Normal umbrellas are permitted into the ballpark for use as long as they do not obstruct the view of other fans. Beach umbrellas are not permitted into the ballpark. Folding chairs/furniture or seats back with metal frame work are also not allowed at Segra Park. Foam seat cushions can be brought in. Segra Park does have a clear bag policy. SMOKE-FREE FACILITY

Segra Park is a smoke-free venue. Smoking of any kind, including cigarettes, cigars, pipes, e-cigarettes and vaporizers, is strictly prohibited.
